High quality, versatility, and economy are provided by use
of the 70MM film cameras and high resolution digital
cameras mounted in a modified aircraft for true vertical
photography. Full three axis, gyro stabilized, vibration
isolated camera mounts maximize photo quality. The versatility
of the system allows optimal matching of film type and
lens focal length for the subject site.
Precision photo
centers and flight lines are obtained with GPS satellite
navigation driving computerized camera controls. High
resolution digital cameras and direct film scans produce:
- a true photo quality image for computer viewing
or color print
- resolutions from one foot to as high as
three inches
- rectification providing accurate photo
backdrops for map overlays and GPS co-ordinates
- projection
and registration for integration into GIS systems
- images
are color balanced, enhanced, and optimized for the
specific subject in study
- multiple, low altitude-high
resolution images can be seamlessly combined into a
mosaic to produce large, high quality photos for display,
photo backdrops, and GIS layers
Geoimagery has developed an efficient, quality system
for combining the benefits of low altitude, high quality,
multiple photo coverage of large areas into seamless mosaics
without the degradation of high altitude photography. Multiple,
low altitude, photos of a large area provide:
- highest detail, color saturation, contrast, and
overall photo quality of any given area
- edge to edge quality
with absolutely no seam lines or photo edge degradation
- each area of photo coverage is
close to the camera center for minimal vertical lean
and maximum ground viewing
- coverage of any given area
can be provided from single photos to combined photo
mosaics of any size
